general items and condition:
First the car runs and drives great. It is ready to jump in and have a blast right now. The motor is very strong and pulls great. The car drives down the hwy straight as an arrow. it brakes good and feels tight. The entire build has less than a thousand miles on it. The fuel injection works great and makes it a blast to drive.
The paint on the car is not the best. It was a budget paint job and it need to be re painted but the hood does to so it just need to be done at the same time. The body is straight and looks good. Their is chips and scratches in the paint. the hood will need to be fitted to the car better and have the gaps adjusted. The front fendershave been modified for flares and are showing some signs of cracking in the filler. I would putnew fenders on the car at thesame time I painted the car. The carpet that is in the car is not correct with the shifter placement and need to be swapped out. I do have new carpet in the box for it. Car has no back seat installed or covered but I do have one. It still need the dash buttoned up and door sill plates installed. I have just driven it like it sits and even went to car show. The rear glass and door glass looks original and it in fair shape.
The AOD transmission works good in the car but on the HWY the overdrive if it is switched on will kick out after an extended drive in 4th at times. I have talked to the transmission shop and the Converter builder and the converter may be stalled to high to cruise long trips in over drive. I either ran in 3 or ran in 4th until it happened then just shifted in 3rd and slowed down some. I have started the process of putting a TKO600 in the car. Its begging for a manual and I have already bought from Modern Driveline some parts to make the swap. I have installed the clutch pedal and the hydraulics clutch in the car and that is ready.
AC needs to be charged.
