1970 Ford Mustang Additional Info:
Up for sale is a very nice 1970 Boss Mustang Tribute car. It will turn heads no matter where you take it. I purchased it at a Mecum Auto Auction a couple of year ago. It originally left the assembly line as a 6 cylinder Fastback out of California in 1970. Someone took the time to do a nice restoration on it. I would say it is an 8.5 out of 10. The engine is strong, no knocking, pinging, smoking or anything like that. The clutch and 4-speed transmission is tight. Tires are like brand new... even the spare. Good brakes. All electrical works except for the back up lights. The interior is in very good shape. No cracks in the dash and it appears that the seats were re-upholstered. The carpet looks new. No cracked glass anywhere. The dual exhausts sound exceptionally good. I put in a retro AM/FM/CD player in it. The under carriage is in great condition.
This car does not have power steering or power brakesIt does not have air conditioningThe paint job is great but there is some pimpling. I could not capture it on the camera because it is so small.I have put a new alternator and voltage regulator on it but for some reason it doesn't want to charge properly. Everyone is telling me that it's some kind of grounding issue, but I have never taken the time to have someone fix it.
If you have any questions please email me. No phone calls please. You are welcomed to come by and check it out. If you can't afford it please don't bid.
