THE DETAILS:-Showing 154,407 miles
-400 cubic inch V-8 engine with two barrel carburetor both rebuilt by a previous owner; I have no paperwork to prove though. The engine runs great. The engineaccording to the block numbers is around a 1979 Ford truck engine. Ford 400 CID truck engines of the era have some extra ribs in the rear to withstand the forces of a manual clutch and transmission, nd thus are stronger than passenger block engines Easily starts and runs in sub-20 degree temperatures, long with summer time temperatures over 95 degrees! I have never been stranded due to any mechanical issues!
-New fuel pump installed one year ago.
-Ford C6 3-speed automatic transmission rebuilt by a previous owner. New TCI heavy duty transmission pan installed recently along with fluid change and new gasket.
-The brakes system were checked when I first purchased the truck 3 years ago. At the time, he front wheel bearing were cleaned and re-packed, nd two new front rubber brake lines were installed. I have a new rubber brake line for the rear that still needs to be installed; about an hour's work for a professional mechanic. Recently (Nov. 2015), ew Powermaster front disc brake pads were installed, long with a new master cylinder. A complete pressure bleeding of the brake systemand adjustment of the rear brakes was done this past December. The left rear axle bearing was also replaced late 2015.
-Rear axle is optional 3.0 ratio; good for towing. The left rear axle bearing was also replaced 2015.
-Remanufactured steering gearbox installed three years ago. One bad power steering hose replaced at around the same time.
-Four new KYB Gas-Adjust gas pressure shocks installed in October of 2015.
-The tires have decent tread, lthough this past week I noticed some sidewall checking/cracking on thefront tires; they should be replaced. Current tires are 225/75-15 all-season radials on factory 15 inch wheels.
-Recently re-done dual exhaust (no balance pipe) with Flowmaster 40 mufflers and rear turndowns. The system sounds great with quite the bark when driven hard.
-White exterior with black interior. The black interior is in good shape; black velour seats with new firm foam, o rips or tears. New seat/shoulder belt for driver's side. The black instrument panel pad has cracks, ut I do have a dash cover. Working older Alpine radio/CD player with two box speakers behind the seat. WeatherTech rubber floor mats included.
-A/C works although doesn't blowreally cold or strongly.
-Body was painted by previous owner 3 years ago; MAACO white over the original blue. See notes above as the previous owner poorly patched rust areas with body filler prior to having the car painted. Windshield has some cracks and chips.
-All lights work; head, aillights, ide lights, nterior lights. Several instrument lights are out. Turn signals, ipers, indshield washer, orn all work.
Easily passes the thumbs up
