This '66'(VIN#6K40S194324) is one of the nicest examples of a "Restomodded" Fairlanes a person will find out there! The car has been bulit with many "period correct" parts. The engine is a genuine 427 cross bolt main block piece with a 428 crank for a total of 454CID. The C/R is 10.1, he camshaft is a solid lifter flat tappet, nd the heads are genuine Med Riser castings. The intake manifold is a Blue Thunder piece with a 850CFM Holley HP carb. The flywheel is a aluminium version and the clutch is a smooth RAM 11" Long style version. The trans is a original style Top Loader with a Hurst Competion Plus shifter. The rearend was updated with NEW Quick Performance 31spline axles, etroit Locker and 3.70 gears. The driveshaft is a custom built H/D piece with larger U-Joints. Subframe connectors were added as well. The car stops, teers, nd drives out well! I am listing the car for my father, s he is 'thinning' some stuff out his shop. The car is located in SoOregon.
