1927 Ford Model T Additional Info:

This car's history before 1969 we do not know. The owner of a large Central Chevrolet dealership was at a Barrett Jackson Antique car auction in 1969 and fell in love with this one of a kind Fire Chief Car. It was (still is) impeccably restored plus gold leaf lettering, GIANT 6 volt floodlight, LOUD 6 volt siren and red flashing light on windshield. There's a tool box, a beautiful brass manual fire extinguisher, a lantern and more. Then and now, it runs like a new car. No smoke, no problems. This is an electric start car, with the crank not needed normally.

He accumulated close to 30 really unusual cars before he died in 1993, and stored them in a climate controlled sealed warehouse in the hills above Fresno, CA After his death, there was some question as to what to do with the cars. The estate finally released them to various family members, This and three other cars went to his son in law, whom I am helping to sell them. There is also a running 1910 Model T Surrey Top, an original 1961 Willys Jeep with 8,000 original miles and a 1927 midget racing car, which apparently made quite a history in the late 1920's. This is the first one to be offered for sale.

Above will take you to a you tube video of the car cruising past at 40 MPH.

There is a similar era Chevrolet Fire Truck showing the same "Wahlers Volunteer Fire Department" in the same exact red, on permanent display at the Palm Springs Air Force Museum. I can't find any further information on the history, but anybody who knows anything about it, please call. And, if you have questions, please call. Al Jennings 310-500-6574. There is not another car like this in the world, and what a crowd pleaser. I just trailered it from Fresno to San Bernardino. People were shooting pics out their windows, and it drew a crowd at every stop.

I am keeping the car on my trailer in case the winning bidder is in southern or central California. Limit 300 miles from San Bernardino. I can also deliver it to the Port of Long Beach or other ports in Southern California, no problem. I will deliver for $1.75 per mile, one way.

Best of luck bidding! Please call even if just to chat about the car. It's really a fun subject! Again, that's 310-500-6574 or inquire through ebay messaging. Thanks!!
