Hi all,
You are bidding on a Fiat 850 Sedan with a High-Performance 965cc 85-90 horsepower engine designed by PBS engineering in SoCal in the late 90’s for use in autocross and racing. Sadly, I am not going to get around to fixing it. I no longer have the time, money or the space to work on it. I have had it since 1998 and have done a lot of work to it over the years. I have a bill of sale and a signed Idaho title from the previous owner. I have collected lots of parts along the way, see pics.
The engine is a 903cc block bored to 965cc, 11:1 compression (Can still run pump gas), with all new internal components except for the crank which was turned .010. It has a PBS Stage 1 full race cam, dual HD valve springs, new pistons, rods, rod and main bolts, bearings, rockers, Top Hat PBS oil pressure relief valve set for 90 psi. The head was designed machined and assembled by PBS engineering. This is a fresh engine that was assembled approximately 6 years ago. I’d take it back apart to put new assembly lube on any bearing surfaces.
Transmission is an early sedan transmission with taller 4th gear. It was cleaned and inspected, all internal components including synchros looked good. There is a spare transmission with lower 4th gear in a pic. I have front disk brakes with new disks off an 850 spider that will bolt in, but have not been installed.
Lots of body work has been done, but as you can see there is still a lot to do. Front panel was cut for front mount radiator, Professional metal guy did the flared fenders (roughed in), front spoiler, front panel, new floor pan, new left rear quarter panel and rust repair around rear windows. Still needs inner rear fender well work, front mount radiator fabrication, and lots of minor body work . I have a NOS hood for it shown in pics, and rear enginedeck panels that are in good to fair shape.
Body has been sand blasted and coated with Southern Industries epoxy primer (black) and light gray primer for finish work. Red paint has been applied on many interior surfaces, engine bay, front trunk space and around windows. Front spring has been de arched by spring shop, rear springs are original and uncut. Rear 850 spider stiffer sway bar has been installed on the front.
I have all glass in good shape except for the front wind wing assembly. The front seats are original, but will need redone. Good instrument panel and dash mat. Rear seats are gone, door panels are gone but are available from Europe fairly cheap.
Fuel tank was removed and cleaned (no need for tank lining) with a new fuel sending unit installed. Wiring under the dash is still a bit of a mess, was that way when I got it. I figure at worse a new aftermarket loom could be installed.
Other New parts:
Rims: 4 X 98 bolt pattern 15” X 6” Rims. New 50 series Low Profile tires
Abarth front spring lowering X-Member
Front marker/turn lights
Rear tail lights
Window rubber for front rear and both rear sides.
Head light rings
Too many spare parts to list, take a look at the photos. Any questions, please ask.
