1962 Fiat 30623 Additional Info:

I am very proud to present to you this very rare and infinitely cool 1962 Fiat 600 Jolly! In 1958 Fiat began shipping several Fiat 600s to the Italian design house Ghia for conversion into the Jolly. Featuring wicker seats and the option of a fringed top to shield its occupants from the Mediterranean sun, these cars were originally made for use on large yachts of the wealthy (Aristotle Onasis owned one). This particular Jolly is a ground up restoration just completed in December 2022. It is finished in Ferrari Red paint. The first things that strike you when you see it are the lack of doors and the fringed, White/Red surrey top - this car was made for the beach! The top, along with everything is all new. The chrome bumpers, chrome front grill, and chrome trim pieces are all in like new condition and gleam in the sunlight. The red-painted 12" steel wheels feature polished hubcaps and are mounted with 2-ply BF Goodrich Silvertown white wall tires. The open cabin houses re-caned wicker seats with a body-color dashboard and black rubber floor liners. Both front seats flip forward for easy access to the back seat. Equipment includes a dash-mounted rear-view mirror and passenger-side grab handle. A custom wood rimed steering wheel frames a 70-mph speedometer flanked by displays for oil pressure and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 30,623 miles that we believe to be actual. Beneath the vented rear deck lid rests an inline four-cylinder 633cc water-cooled engine with a single carburetor. The engine is paired to a four-speed manual trans-axle. While in the engine compartment you can see that the engine and chassis numbers match the build tag to the left of the engine. Steering comes via a worm and sector box and drum brakes on all four corners provide stopping power. Take a peek at the undercarriage to find a jet-black under coated paint job covering brand new factory replacement floor pans. Underneath you'll also notice the transverse leaf spring front suspension and independent rear suspension. Pop open the front trunk to reveal an original jack and a full-size spare tire. There's also enough storage room up front for a small cooler and beach bag. Real Jolly's don't come up for sale very often so don't waste this opportunity to own this beautiful, piece of history!
