1969 Fiat 124 AC Coupe Additional Info:
1969 was a good year for Automobiles. The New 124 Fiat came out in 1967, The Coupe didn't make it to our shores until 1968. First series was derived from the original Boano design. Single headlight and the nice came tail with smaller taillights. Same as used on a few other exotics, (Lamboghini Espada, etc). The new 124 features a new Lampredi designed bely driven twin cam engine, 4 wheel disc brakes, and the 1969 model featured a 5 speed gearbox. This is an incredibly dry car. Only rust is in the front window corne, rear window corner, and rear end at emblem area. Straight froward restoration. Engine has been soaking in Marvel Mystery oil, currently stuck, but should break free. I bought car from a dealer who got it in a lien sale. has 5 Chromodoro Daytona Magnesium wheels, very lite.
If you have been looking for a 1st series coupe, this is a great choice. I was going to save for myself but just too many projects.
