The Fiat 500, commonly known as "Topolino", is an Italian city car produced and manufactured by Fiat from 1936 to 1955. The name "Topolino" translates literally as "little mouse" in Italian, but is also the Italian name for Mickey Mouse. The Topolino was one of the smallest cars in the world at the time of its production. Despite its small size, the car can easily be called Fiat’s Mighty Mouse. The Topolino 500 series was one of Fiat's most popular models, and its genesis was a contest arranged by then Fiat Chairman Agnelli. The goal for designers and engineers was to create an Italian people's car, which was perfectly achieved.
As a classic car enthusiast, I’ve kept Fiat Topolino in my earliest childhood memories when I first saw the car in an old movie called “Roman Holidays”. I have been attracted to the car ever since. Unfortunately, I have to sell it since I’m selling my warehouse.
I bought this car from a collector who loved Fiats and had several of them. I kept this Topolino for my collection and enjoyed with my family. It was imported from Italy and now it’s in California. The car has a clear CA title with only 58,453 actual miles on it. However, CA DMV does not put mileage information on titles of older cars. It’s an amazin looking convertible car and is the cleanest original Topolino in the U.S. It has a classic combination of green exterior and beige interior.
Mechanical
This Topolino is in very healthy and solid condition. Everything works properly. The original engine runs very well and the car drives like it should; transmission shifts fine, clutch is in great condition. Odometer shows only 58,453 actual miles.
Exterior
The exterior of this car is very solid and presentable with an amazing shiny green paint. It gets attention everywhere it goes. Undercarriage is solid and rust-free. Doors open and close properly, windows are in great condition. The top is in great shape and it works fine. This Topolino has always been kept in a climate-controlled garage both in Italy and in the US.
Interior
The beige interior of this car is very original. All gauges are in working condition.
Everything is in awesome and presentable condition, including the seats, carpets, door panels, headliner, and package panel trim.
