This 1984 Pininfarina Azzura Spider 2000 is fun to drive with original miles. I purchased this vehicle a few years ago and it has sat in one of my garages more that I have driven it. It’s a shame to have this car just sitting without being driven, hence the sale. It also has Prestige auto alarm system with remote installed.

Exterior The Exterior of this convertible is in good condition. It has been repainted many years ago (by previous owner). The re-paint has no orange peel but does have minor scuffs, scratches, and dings as found in most older pre-owned vehicles. There are a few spots where small bubbles appearing. There are also a few spots of surface rust on the passenger side (see photos).
All chrome is in very good condition with the exception of the rear bumper. There is rust in the lower chrome bumper tube however; I do have a very good condition replacement bumper and a box of rubber bumper ends that are included with the sale. The glass is in very nice shape. The driver’s side outside rear-view mirror works well but the mount is loose and will need to be tightened. Power windows function very well.
The four Cromodora CD-167 wheels are in very nice shape as is the spare. The tires are all in good condition and have good tread.
The tan top is in very good condition, almost like new. The tonneau cover is also in good condition. Mechanical This vehicle starts up on the first turn of the key and the engine runs well. There is a new battery, air filter, water pump, thermostat, radiator thermal switch, coolant, timing belt, oil pump, oil pan, and oil and filter. This vehicle shifts well through all gears with no issues. The clutch is strong and functions well. The brakes function with no issues. After the recent installation of the new water pump, the engine is running slightly hot. I suspect that there is an air pocket in the cooling system that needs to be purged. Interior The interior is in good condition. There is one crack in the dash top. The leather seats are in good condition but do show mild cracking as expected with any vehicle of this age. I am including a new set of premium tan vinyl replacement seat covers made by a Fiat restoration company in California. The door panels are in nice condition. There is a 3”-4” tear in the driver’s side top bolster. The carpet is in good condition. The center console is in good condition. It has slight cracking at the base of the emergency brake. I will be including a replacement (aftermarket) center console with the sale of the vehicle (not a cap). Conclusion Overall, this 1984 Pininfarina Azzura Spider would make a wonderful vehicle for someone to enjoy as a daily driver. This vehicle has been accurately described to the best of my ability. Even though this vehicle looks very appealing, it is a 33-year-old car and needs just a little work.
This vehicle is being sold as-is, where-is with no warranty expressed or implied. This vehicle is for sale locally. I reserve the right to terminate this auction once this vehicle is no longer for sale.
