1976 Fiat Other 124 Spider Additional Info:
1976 Fiat 124 Spider in red with two tone interior. This is an ORIGINAL California Blue Plate 1-OWNER car with only 41,000 miles on it. Everything works on this car and it’s an absolute pleasure to drive. It has undergone a full recent service that included a fluid change and a thorough looking over. This is not a project car by any means and is a wonderful car to drive with the top down and enjoy thoroughly for very little money.
Mechanicals
This car starts up like clock-work. The owner did a full recent service including an oil and filter change and a full inspection of the car which did not reveal any issues. The car runs very nicely and shifts smoothly through all the gears. Suspension seems very fresh and is smooth while driving. No noises or any other issues that we know of. This is a low mile car that has been well maintained all it’s life and the mechanicals are proof of that
Exterior
The exterior is in great shape overall, however, it is not perfect. If you are looking for a fully restored car, this is not it. All doors, trunk and hood open and close as they should. The hood looks like it can use an adjustment when closing. The top is in excellent shape as can be seen from the pictures. The plastic rear window is fogged up and not perfect. The top opens and closes very easily with almost no effort at all. Tires are also in great shape.
Interior
The interior on this car is in excellent shape. The front seats are two tone and I can’t tell if they are original or not. I have not removed the steering wheel cover, but it looks like it has the original wood steering wheel underneath. One of the gauges has yellowed up compared to all the others. The car retains it’s original stereo, however, there is a newer aftermarket unit in the dash that is currently hooked up and functioning.
This is an excellent car to drive and enjoy. I have driven it a few times in the last month and it’s an excellent car for the money. The current owner of the car is a mechanic and he has maintained everything that has been needed. It is being sold AS-IS with NO RESERVE. Again, this is an older car and not perfect, please ask all questions and perform any inspections before bidding as it will be sold to the highest bidder. This is an honest and very fun little car, especially when being driven with the top down!
