Vehicle Details
This is a 1978 Ferrari 308 Coupe project with a fully-rebuilt, F355, 386 HP racing engine. The engine was rebuilt by the legendary Ferrari mechanic Hermann Theiler in La Habra, California, before he passed away. The engine was fully-rebuilt up to the point of finishing the intake, fuel injection, and engine management system. In addition to racing cams, pistons, connecting rods and valves, Thieler balanced and blueprinted the crankshaft, added a custom-build crankshaft/engine block support structure and ported and polished the intake and exhaust ports. I have all of the documentation and dozens of photographs of the work done on the vehicle. The vehicle has been stored since 2001.
