The Good!
This is a 1977, steel bodied, Ferrari 308 GTB.Originally a California car, it was shipped to the Midwest in Dec of 2004.This is a running and driving, rebuilt titled vehicle.
The 255 bhp, 2,926 cc DOHC 90-degree V-8 engine with four Weber 40DCNF carburetors… the five-speed gearbox… the front and rear independent suspension by A-arms, coil springs, and telescopic shocks, and the four-wheel disc brakes are all in working order.
The interior is in fantastic condition
Pininfarina's bodywork design is still quite stunning and wherever you goes this car turns heads. This is a cool car and we hope it finds a good home
Parts for leaking valve cover gaskets, cam seals, and the timing belt service are included. The radiator was rebuilt locally. The factory fuse block has been replaced with modern agc glass fuse blocks. The ignition system has been tuned up with new plugs and wires. The brake master cylinder has been recently rebuilt and there’s new brake fluid throughout the system.
The bad!
speedo and odo aren’t currently working,
2ndgear syncro is warn
the cable operated choke is “plier actuated”
Windows need to be serviced to operate properly
the AC system is missing it’s compressor (but is complete otherwise)
there are oil and coolant leaks
spare tire, washer fluid reservoir and tool kit are missing
there’s no owners manual or service documentation
The wiper switch needs to be replaced for proper operation
The ugly?
There’s noting ugly about owning this beautiful 1977 Ferrari 308 GTB!Buy this car!:D
