1994 Ferrari 348 Spider Additional Info:
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this stunning, low mile, one owner 1994 Ferrari 348 spider for consideration. The Ferrari 348 is such an important car in the line of 2-seater V8 sports cars that Ferrari is for producing. The 348 was the first road car to depart from the full tubular chassis to a stiff monocoque design with a tubular sub-frame in the rear. The 348 was the last Ferrari that was developed under the direction of Enzo Ferrari prior to his death. The 348 Spider was the first full open top car produced by Ferrari since the Daytona Spiders of the early 70's.
The outstanding 1994 Ferrari 348 Spider was purchased new at Midwestern Auto Group Ferrari of Dublin Ohio on October 28, 1993. The car was delivered in extremely attractive Bianco White exterior paint over Grey leather interior with black convertible top. The car is powered by its 3.4 liter V8 producing 312 hp, 5 the power is transferred to the rear wheels via its 5 speed gearbox and transaxle. Since, the car has remained with the original owner where it was enjoyed, cared for and maintained to a high standard until the decision was made to consign the car with GR Auto Gallery. As a result, at just 18,235 miles, this 348 spider remains in excellent condition in all areas mechanically and cosmetically.
The Bianco White exterior paint remains all original as the car has never been in an accident or involved in an incident. The body is extremely straight and retains its factory panel fitment. The original paint remains beautiful as the car has always been stored in a climate-controlled environment and the car has always remained in a detailed state of presentation. As a matter of personal taste, the side door louvers have been removed along with the rear grille, and the car now sits on 18-inch OZ racing wheels Pirelli P-zero tires measuring 225 / 40 18 for the front and 265 / 40 18 for the rear. The factory original 17-inch wheels, side louvers and rear grille all remain in excellent condition, are to be sold with the car and if necessary, shipped to the buyer at the buyers expense.
The Grey leather interior also remains excellent in all areas. The grey leather seats remain supple and soft showing very little wear. All the pieces that are prone to "Sticky" have either been tastefully replaced with carbon fiber or sent to "Sticky no more" for refurbishment. The leather dash is excellent in all areas with no cracking, warping or lifting of leather material. The soft top remains excellent with a clear rear window, now rips, tears or fading.
Mechanically, this Ferrari is spot on. The 3.4 liter pulls strong through every gear, the gear box shifts with precision, the suspension and handling is very tight and true and the car sounds awesome as it has been fitted with upgraded Tubi exhaust. (original exhaust to be sold with the car and if necessary shipped to the buyer at the buyers expense). The factory air conditioning functions proper and blows cold.
The 348 is such an important car in Ferrari's history as it set the stage for the cars still being designed today. Only 1090 total 348 Spiders were built for world production which is the lowest Spider production Ferrari since reintroduced in late 1993. For these reasons, a car of this caliber is a must consider for any enthusiast or collector and is poised for automotive investment.
The car comes complete with the original books, original tool roll, service history, all original parts and pieces as previously mentioned in this writing.
