This is the Original alloy front body clip section from Ferrari 275GTB/C S/N 9027, the Jacques Swaters, Ecurie Franchorchamps Ferrari works car. Ferrari S/N 9027 raced and finished 2nd in its class in the 1966 24 Hours of LeMans.
The official history for S/N 9027 records that the bodywork on the car was restored after both race and transportation accidents. This is the front alloy body clip section that was replaced when the car was restored in Europe.
This would make a very unique piece to add to any motorsport or Ferrari enthusiast's collection. We purchased the front body section in Europe some years ago for a future project. It is currently stored in our San Diego warehouse.
We will be happy to assist the buyer to arrange shipping and crating. The amount shown for domestic and international shipping is an "estimate only" and it does not include crating costs, there are many different shipping options which significantly effect the price and delivery timetable. As a reference, today a complete alloy body shell made in Italy is around $50,000.
