1982 Ferrari 308 GTSI Additional Info:
Just 17,989 original miles!
Collector grade car, this is not your $45,000-$55,000 variety car. This is easily in the top 10% of all 308's out there in person. The rims, engine and seats alone should tell the story.
1982 Ferrari GTSI with its original paint, 5 original rims (spare), rolling tool kit with all the tools present, original manuals with case that still closes, original black leather interior and doors, Blaupunkt radio (original to car) and matching engine VIN.
This car is Classique ready...with all items present (and even more) to be approved by Ferrari on the first try: original rims, engine, seats, dash, gauges, radio, lights, mirror, even has original window sticker!
Last full engine out service was April 2016 by Roselli Exotics in California at a cost of nearly $5000. All 5 tires are brand new! Tires date to 48th week of 2016, installed in May 2017. She has her full records since 1982 which will be provided to the collector. Anyone who is looking to buy or collect a Ferrari should want its service history - this has all of it. This is worthy of any stable, I assure you.
Custom COVERCRAFT fitted car cover (last picture), designed specifically for this car (thus the matching colors) is also included. Cost was nearly $550.
Pictures say rest.
***Someone had a question about a mileage oddity on the carfax wherein a smog test was erroneously entered at 140,000 miles. First, how many 308's have ever reached that mileage? None I have seen. However, I have the receipt from that test and it even lists the mileage as "140." They screwed it up upon data entry, clearly a mistake was made and an obvious discrepancy.
Pennsylvania, where the car is housed currently, is very strict on titles. They will hand you an EXEMPT mileage title if they feel the mileage is not accurate. You have to show bills of sale and other items when registering the car as an ANTIQUE because you avoid future inspections. My title is clear and states on it 17,680 miles when issued. I have driven the car 209 miles and taken her for good rides, seeing what she will do and she does not complain doing them.
You will not be disappointed at her beauty, performance or records. See the video below, I show you every facet of the car for 18 minutes. Who else does that on here? Who shows you each and every rim, the engine, the seats, the front air dam, etc? Very few...because they have something to hide.
Check out my feedback on a former 308 that sold for over $80,000 and the buyer could not be more happy. My feedback is as important to me as a seller as it is as a buyer and never once have I received even a NEUTRAL nor a NEGATIVE. 790+++ deals - all positive.
You are buying from a Ferrari Club Member too. We take our cars more seriously than most Ferrari owners, because we police each other. Factor that in, look at the car, and make sure you do not miss this one. Won't be many more like her in yellow...........and Ferrari isn't making any more 35 year old cars.https://youtu.be/1FoZ8rH5hA4
