1972 Ferrari Other -- Additional Info:
1972 FERRARI 365 GTC/4 --Rosso Corsa with Black leather interior and Black carpets, 51,000 Original miles, 5-speed manual, Factory air conditioning, Borrani wire wheels, Documented by Massini. The 365 GTC/4 has been called “the civilized brother to the Daytona” due to its power steering, more civilized road manners around town and probably the best air condition system of the vintage Ferraris. Produced for only two years, only 505 examples were manufactured for the world markets. This 365 GTC/4 was original delivered to its first owner through Ferrari West Coast distributor, William Harrah’s Modern Classic Motors, Nevada, USA. This 365 GTC/4 is well-known to Autosport Designs, Inc. having been owned and sold by us in the past and with complete documented ownership history by Marcel Massini. Complete with full service history, this GTC/4 has been well kept and cared for through all ownerships. Although an older cosmetic restoration, it remains in superb condition throughout and as happy on the road as it will be on the show field. It is most recent collector ownership and within the last 1,000 miles, this GTC/4 has received a thorough engine servicing, suspension and brake service and is, as they say in the trade, “on the button” and ready for immediate use and enjoyment. It has also received a refurbished interior along with new carpeting. The center console wood veneer have been recently refurbished, it has been fitted with a Nardi wood steering wheel and further servicing has included refurbishment of the air conditioning system, fitment of a new factory bonnet pad, restoration of its Borrani wheels and the fitment of new Michelin XWX tires. This GTC/4 will offer its new owner enjoyment with no surprised. The gearbox and clutch are excellent, the body gaps are excellent, the structure is excellent with no rust and this GTC/4 has never sustained any accident damage. One of the best driving and most usable of the 1970’s vintage Ferrari models, not to mention probably if not certainly, one of the best sounding V12 Ferrari’s of all time, this GTC/4 is complete books, tools, window crank, factory jack, hammer. Inspections are welcome.
