1983 Ferrari Other 400i Additional Info:

The exterior is Corsa Rosa with tan interior. The bumpers have been color matched to the bodywork. It has the 4,823cc 310bhp DOHC V-12. With the Bosch K-Tronic fuel injection. It also has four wheel disc brakes and a fully independent suspension with coil over springs and shocks. The Jack kit was remade in leather matching the original vinyl; all the original hardware was used. It also has the tool kit in the Cromodora Spare wheel and tire.

The car also comes with the original owner’s manual as well as a copy of the original factory workshop manual.

I have had all the belts changed and had a leak down test performed as preventative maintenance as well as all the normal care such oil change, etc. This service was performed at 15,000 miles. I also had the transmission rebuilt by noted racing and GM,TH400 guru John Kilgore. He installed a lighter torque converter and improved gear ratios.

This 1983 400i is in superb condition. It comes with a Blaupunkt CM41 cassette deck/CD changer controller; a Clarion 200 watt amplifier and new JBL speakers. Everything works, even the clock!

The 400i &412i are the last of the “affordable” Ferrari V-12s. There were few made and they are appreciating!
