Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this very nice, low mileage and original Ferrari 308 GTB coupe with an early build date of March, 1977. This desirable car was delivered new and just purchased from Houston, Texas from only it's second owner. He purchased the car from his best friend, the original owner, Dr. Nicola Perrone, upon his passing with only 9800 miles on the car. The car was sparingly used and received a single respray in it's original color in the late 90's. The rest of the car remains highly original today.
This car just received a recent $4,300 service to several systems to make it roadworthy again, after a few years in storage. It is currently running and driving very well, and is mechanically a strong performer, as one would expect from a low mileage example. The original spare tire and rim are as new.
The paintwork is lightly blistering on the rear light panel, the LH rear fender, and engine cover panel. It could benefit from an easy respray to those three body panels. The rest of the car's paintwork is holding up well with a nice gloss and finish.
The interior trim is completely original in it's factory materials and is in excellent condition, testament to the car's low miles.
Overall, this excellent, low mileage and preserved, desirable Ferrari 308 is a rare offering in this market. These early carburetored coupes are a smart buy and will prove to be a good investment going forward.
