1978 SOLAR GOLD TRANS AM

This is a fully restored car that came from Las Vegas N.V. in the early 2000. It was restored with all new brakes, brake lines, and exhaust system. It was a 455 XXX block that has been rebuilt to 455 C.I. 375 H.P. The transmission has a rebuilt 400 with a shift kit and quick silver shiftier. . The rear end is a factory 442 posi rear with all new axle bearings and seals.It has a new radiator with a 4 core to accommodate added h.p.of the engine. The body is very nice. One repaint due to factory paint fade it was painted at the factory in California. The paint in 1978 turned greenish due to lack of standard paint and chemical emission standards.
The car drives and looks great it has the original interior which is very nice. It does have one crack in the dash due to the sun in Nevada. It has 41000 original miles and only a little less than 2000 miles since rebuild in 2003. This is a great car who wants a new owner. I would not be selling it if it weren't for my age and medical issues.The price on this is a lot lower than some of the $30,000 cars that have far less equipment.Please come see the car for yourself.
