1979 Jeep Cherokee Golden Eagle FSJ Survivor Additional Info:
1979 Jeep Cherokee Golden Eagle. This is an original Golden Eagle. In the rare Bordeaux Metallic 9P paint with tan Levis interior. Jeep is very original. Jeep has 79K original miles. It runs and drives good. It has the original 360 2barrel motor with Quadra-trac system and automatic transmission. Jeep appears to have all original sheet metal. The undercarriage is in great shape with no rot. The bottom of the floor boards are all sold with no rot holes.
Jeep is believed to have come with the rubber bumpers on the front bumper from the factory. There are no signs of the bracket locations for the brush guard that many came with. The original clock was replaced with the digital. I have the original clock with it. Has the original radio which works great. A/C works properly. Power steering and power brakes both work properly. 4wd system works properly. Has the original Goodyear Tracker spare tire.
There are a few small issues with this Jeep. The driver side seat has a small tear on the side, the rear cargo area carpet is original and falling apart on the corners. The rear window works from the inside of the Jeep but not from the gate. The tires are older (from 1995). There are a few spots on the roof and rear gate where the paint is starting to oxidize. Jeep appears to have all original paint with the exception of the rear flares. The flares are original and have not been repaired or patched up. I believe they were faded. The rear bumper has a rot hole on the driver side which is covered by a bumper sticker.
I have a detailed notepad from the previous owners that was continued through the Jeeps history. The notepad starts maintenance and service from the time of new to 1998. It then has a section of fuel reporting and service from 1999- 2006. I then have service receipts from 2014-2016. I also have all the original books and warranty book with original owners information. Jeep was delivered to the original owner on 10/11/79. Jeep started out in Arkansas. It was sold at dealer code #4536
This is an original Golden Eagle. I have a collection of vehicles and I am slowly thinning them out. I have sold a couple already and have a few more to go. This Jeep is registered and insured in my name. It is not one of my sentimental vehicles so I can let it go.
I can be contacted at 609-529-6188 with any more questions. I have a lot of pictures so feel free to ask for more. I can only put 24 on this auction.
Vehicle is also for sale locally and can be sold at any time.
