1994 Dodge Ram 3500 Additional Info:
I'm selling my 1994 Dodge Ram 3500 dually. Truck is 4x4, and has the very desirable 12 valve cummins diesel engine with mechanical fuel system. This truck has a clean Florida title. This truck is rust free on the body and undercarriage, with only minor surface rust on the flatbed. Truck has a new automatic transmission with shift kit installed at 302k miles. Truck has 5" lift with aluminum wheels and 35" mud tires with very low mileage and custom X do wheels. Also has aftermarket CD player. This is a very strong truck and is driven almost daily by myself as a work truck.
The bad....the ac blows cold but is very weak. I'm not sure if it's a fan motor issue or not. I have not addressed the issue, but I'm sure it's minor problem.
The 4wd works intermittently. The transfer case and all components work fine. The issue is with the central axle disconnect vacuum system. I replaced it once before and it worked for about a year and then stopped working again. It's a cheap fix but I haven't need the 4wd so it hasn't been an issue for me. A poor design by dodge in my opinion. Besides that you can't break the Dana 60 front axle!
The truck fires right up and drives strong, but it does smoke some. Not bad, but some. It is to be expected on a diesel with 304k miles.
The interior is pretty rough. Not something you'd want to take your momma to church on Sunday morning in, but it fits the truck. Power windows, door locks work.
The truck Was originally blue and was painted white somewhere along the line. The paint job is ok, with normal dents and dings that you can see in the pictures. The door Jams have been painted as well. The seat belts are missing also. I'm not sure why somebody took them out, but I'm assuming it was done when the truck was painted.
The fuel gauge works to about 5/8 tank and then does not go any more. It's not been a big enough issue to pull the bed and replace the sending unit. I normally fill it up every 350 miles. And I've never ran it out of fuel.
This is all the issues I know of with this truck. If you have any questions, please give me a call or text me.
Payment must be made within 3 business days via bank wire, or cash upon pickup. Truck must be picked up within 10 days after auction.
It has a clean Florida title! Located in Bryceville Fl.
