1968 Dodge Coronet R/T Additional Info:

This auction is for a 1968 Coronet R/T. Car has complete original engine, 4 speed gear box, and Dana 60 rear end. ( see photo's ) All body numbers and tags match and are correct and I have a clear title. Build sheet was not found in rear seat, but I have not looked anywhere else. This R/T came in dark turquoise with a black vinyl roof and black tail stripes. Black and white interior. A beautiful and more uncommon color combination. Car has spent all or most of its life in Texas.
Car has been painted with a incorrect color turquoise. Car has rust in the usual B body places. It will need floor and trunk pans, lower rear quarters, and some work below rear window. Front frame rails are solid, rear rails need work. I'm including a complete very solid rear frame section that should make repairs easier and correct. Trunk lid is junk, but I have just found a good trunk lid that I can make available to buyer. Doors, hood, fenders, roof, all in good usable shape with minor rust and dents. Interior is complete, but will need a complete restoration. All trim is there with exception of rear R/T emblem.
This R/T does run and drive. Clutch and transmission work well. It has a new fuel tank and straps, brake lines and some brake work. I have only driven it around house, tires are old and dry. The original 440 runs really well and does not smoke. It has a Carter AVS 4617 SA carb. which is correct for 1969. I guess it was replaced at some time. It has after market valve covers. Old school and very cool.
