This is 1967 dodge charger been sitting in garage the past 20 years. Listing car for the son of original owner..he informed me car has been sitting since his dad started body work almost 20 years ago, son said dad put best of everything in motor when built, son informed me is a 440 4 speed original car...did little reserch on car to try to confirm ..on engine #s ..block casting # 253643010 D 440 417 h, head casting #03188 2843906 with 2.08 intake 1.74 exhaust 79.5 cc, paperwork saying over sized valves 3 angle valve job, bronze and teflon, has Harland sharp roller rockers Midland oil pan...tunnel ram with dual holly carbs. Possie rear..4 speed trans. Car is solid all floor pan trunk pan frame ect solid. .. . Vin # has rare defect 5th didget is a & symbol. Preventing me of seeing original eng..picture of vin tag in pictures attached...made call to get more info...speaking with GTS Gales tag service,ll, said only like 20 they ever seen with factory misprint in tag # also stated the only 2 letters by the & symbol on machine to make tags back then was for 440 or 318..there is no fender tag.. with more reserch and $ informed me can find all info and original specs...interior and car in very great condition as pictures show.. considering year and time sitting. Pictures explain it all...car is all metal and solid..I scuffed complete car down and coated with Rust-Oleum from a can tto prevent any further surface rust..Under car still gloss coated perfectly in black in many aeras, some aeras have surface rust... Have pile of crome molding for car and some emblems that go with car..this would be easy restore project. Have clean Illinois's title.... Wanted to add: engine is super clean looking been mechanic 20+ years. Motor oil like new on dip stick. Rotates fine. Trans oil like brand new. Hurst shifter all gears seem to shift fine, windshield has "rockers loose and plugs loose" written on it, owner of car was master auto mechanic, seems when car was put up he did all right things, from what I can see as certified heavy duty diesel tech. With little work car could run no problem.but also as mechanic for 20 years car sitting as long as this has should be tore down an checked..

After few questions about motor. Figured update... Oil looks brand new. Motor rotates fine. The motor looks to be stored properly. Wrote on windshield in marker ."Valves backed off and plugs loose".... As picture in add shows under valve cover motor looks super clean on inside..due to time sitting should be tore down and inspected. Transmission is tight..shifting tight. Trans Looks like new under car picture in add..Thanks for looking..
