1961 Dodge PHOENIX 2 DOOR HARDTOP COUPE Additional Info:
We purchased this car with a specific resto-mod project in our heads, however after talking to the shop that does our work, with the two other cars we own that they are working on, it will take them 2-3 years before they can start this project and the storage costs we pay for indoor a/c storage per month is ridiculous, so we are putting the car up for sale.
The auction is for a 1961 Dodge Phoenix 2 dr hardtop. Mileage is in excess of it's mechanical limits and I don't know what it is. I haven't looked at it for more than 5 minutes except for when the transport truck dropped it off into the storage unit.
The photos were provided by the person I bought it from and now it is inside the unit and too cramped inside to get any better shots. What you see in the photos is what you get. If there is something you don't see, assume it isn't there.
I have no idea when the car last ran ( it didn't matter to me since we were going to install a Dodge Hellcat drivetrain from a wrecked Challenger I have ). Yes there is rust, just like any other 50 year old car.
Expect to do a complete restoration on the car, or use it as a valuable source of parts, or modify it like we were going to do. I always like the looks of the 2 dr body style.
You will have to arrange for in-op transport for the car
