1992 Dodge Ram W250 Cummins Turbo Diesel – Extensively Restored & Built for Reliable Towing

If you're looking for a typical high-mileage first-generation Cummins, this isn't it.

This 1992 Dodge Ram W250 has just over 370,000 miles, but virtually every known weak point has been addressed over the years. It has been meticulously maintained and thoughtfully upgraded with reliability, towing, drivability, and longevity in mind—not for drag racing or making huge horsepower numbers.

I would not hesitate to hook onto a trailer and drive this truck anywhere.

The truck starts easily, runs exceptionally well, drives straight, and has outstanding power. The steering is tighter than most first-generation Dodges thanks to extensive suspension and steering upgrades, and the transmission is one of the nicest-built units you'll find in one of these trucks.

This is not a neglected old diesel with a few bolt-on parts. It has been carefully built over many years with quality components, professional machine work, and OEM replacement parts wherever reliability mattered most.

Overall

This truck has been built with the goal of creating an exceptionally dependable first-generation Cummins that could tow confidently and comfortably for years to come. The amount of money invested is far beyond what the truck can realistically sell for, but the next owner gets the benefit of years of thoughtful upgrades and maintenance without having to start from scratch.

There is simply too much to list, and I'm sure I've forgotten a number of upgrades.

If you're familiar with first-generation Cummins trucks, you'll immediately recognize the value in the work that's been done. If you're looking for one of the nicest-driving, best-sorted tow rigs available, I genuinely believe this truck would be difficult to duplicate without spending substantially more than the asking price.

The truck truly needs to be driven to be appreciated.
