1966 Dodge Charger Additional Info:

1966 Dodge Charger Fastback – 383 V8 – Runs & Drives – Solid Body – Auction

Up for sale is my 1966 Dodge Charger Fastback, a true first-year Mopar muscle car and an excellent restoration candidate. These early Chargers are getting harder to find—especially ones that run and drive with a solid body.

Drivetrain:
  • Original 383 V8 Motor

  • Runs and drives well

  • Recently out on the road and driven

  • Mileage is unknown (dash cluster not working – speedometer, odometer, etc.)

The car starts up and moves under its own power. It’s a great foundation whether you plan a factory-correct restoration, period build, or restomod.

Body:
  • Overall solid body

  • One rust area located on the rear portion of the driver-side rear wheel well (quarter panel)

  • Hood has a dent on the top driver-side area (as pictured)

  • Trunk needs release button on the back

  • The rest of the car presents as a strong project platform

This is not a rust bucket — it’s a solid starting point that saves you from chasing major structural repairs.

Interior:

Original Charger interior layout with the signature full-length console and rear bucket seat design. Dash gauges are currently not functioning and will need attention. Does have the addition some modern add on gages near the gear shifter as shown.

Why This Car:

1966 was the first year for the Charger, featuring the unique fastback roofline and hidden headlight grille. Values of first-generation Chargers continue to climb, and this is a great opportunity to get into one at auction and build it your way.

Important Details:
  • Sold as-is

  • Clean title

  • Buyer responsible for shipping or pickup

If you’ve been looking for a solid, running first-gen Charger to restore or customize, this is a great opportunity.

Message me with any questions. Additional photos and video available upon request.

Good luck bidding!
