1970 Dodge Charger Additional Info:

This is 1 of 109 ‘70 Charger 500s built with an N code 383 Magnum engine & the standard 3 speed manual transmission (floor shift). It is an original FE5 Red car with a black top & interior, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, woodgrain console, hood & fender mounted turn signals, buckets, light package, drip rail & belt moldings, dual chrome mirrors & an AM radio.

This body is very clean! The fenders, doors, hood, trunklid, floorpans, inner fenders & firewall are near perfect! There is a couple very small holes in the drivers front floor that need simple patches, not replacement. The underside of this Charger isn’t a rusted turd, the metal is very smooth & clean, it is a factory undercoated car. A previous owner must have had visions of tubbing it, they removed most of the original rear framerails & installed other rails a few inches farther inward, new framerails are included. I have a Mopar resto shop & could install the rear rails on a jig or restore the car if needed. The original grill is very nice & nearly every original part from the car is in boxes & is included. It currently has an earlier road runner engine & 4 speed transmission etc. with a shifter for a late 68 or 69 console that is included. Included also is a true 383 HP block from a 70 model year car. The air cleaner in the pictures is not included, a dial snorkel 70 air cleaner is included. I do not have the original engine or transmission unfortunately. The original console is included but is rough. There is a 7 ¼ rear end in it now for rolling, a correct 8 ¾” complete rear end is included as are the 4 matched rims.

Included new or refurbished parts:

1- The steering column has been recently restored & is properly packed. ($1,000).

2- New dash wiring harness. ($650).

3- New pair AMD quarter panels ($1,100 w/o shipping).

4- New AMD trunklid & trunkfloor ($1,200 w/o shipping).

5- New AMD taillight panel ($500 w/o shipping).

6- New passenger’s outer wheel house ($130 w/o shipping).

7- Several new AMD brackets & braces needed to install the other AMD parts.

8- New fuel tank with electric fuel pump ($600).

9- New fuel lines.

10- ALL NEW INTERIOR PARTS READY TO INSTALL!!! The previous owner was going with a white interior - recovered 70 buckets with tracks & rear seat ($1,600 for covers & foam alone), 4 restored upper door pads($1,000), new set of 4 door panels ($800).

11- New pair AMD rear framerails ($1050 w/o shipping)

The above mentioned items total up to $9,630.

Yes, it’s a bummer someone installed framerails inside of the factory location but I’d much rather fix that than the kind of rust problems most of the projects I see out there. I will properly pack as much as I can inside the car for shipping & may be able to deliver for you.

I am in Lincoln, Nebraska just off I-80.

I listed this car on March first, the bidding did it's normal process, at the last minute, someone bid it up to the reserve, then within 6 hours, cancelled their bids.
