This beautiful '72 Charger with 318 engine and black vinyl top and black interior was originally purchased new in Arizona.I purchased the car from the original owner in Arizona and I worked with my wife and kids to do an extremely thorough frame-up restoration here in Arizona where the car is still located. The Plumb Crazy Purple paint job was professionally done.Car was already in great shape before restoration. The car underside was sandblasted (it had light rust in some spots) and then coated with Rust Bullet before covering in black paint.NEW PARTS INCLUDE ALL THESE:Black vinyl top, American Racing rims and tires (car was also aligned), electronic ignition, headlights, turn signal lenses, all bulbs (of course), headliner, water pump, windshield, windshield washer motor and tank, AC unit, all wiring with Painless brand wiring kit, mirrors, steering wheel, steering box (also all joints and connecting rods), dash pad (not the cheap cover that is sometimes used by others), carpet, gas tank, lines, locks and ignition switch, dual exhaust, interior panels and plastics, springs and shocks, windshield, hood brackets, front bucket seats,etc... The list goes on.Rear seat received new padding and was professionally re-upholstered to match front seats.Rally gauges were restored.Bubble hood is an original Chrysler Corporation hood from another Dodge Charger.PLEASE NOTE: The bubble hood came with 340 emblems which remain on it; however, this car that we are selling has a 318 engine, NOT a 340 engine. The tail lights are 1971 as I thought they looked better, but I still have the 1972 lights and can include them. The rear end was rebuilt. The engine and transmission came from a 1971 Dodge Charger that had been in an accident. The prior owner of them told me that they had been rebuilt. The car has hidden headlights but I have not yet replaced the relay for them.I installed the new AC unit (still sealed) but it still needs new AC hoses and charging. Piping for the new air conditioning is included.I have not installed a new cable for the hood release as I couldn't find one but I hooked up a temporary cable that is accessed through the grill. The speedometer does read faster than the actual speed (rear end rebuild may have caused this) and it occasionally bounces. The low front valance on the passenger side has some scratches that are shown in a photo.Original box gauge said mileage was 37,186. I presume this original box gauge rolled over. I replaced the original box gauges with rally gauges.I drive this car. It starts easily and runs well.Contact me with any questions that you have. If you provide your email address, I'll send you a great video of a walkaround withthe car running.
