1970 Dodge Challenger T/A Additional Info:

1970 Dodge Challenger T/A Never restored. I am the 2nd registered owner and 3rd actual owner. 72k original mile car. Purchased new at Claude Short Dodge in Santa Monica, CA. Still retains its original license plate and frame. The only rust is the center of the trunk floor. No other rust or corrosion anywhere on the car. Original Hood. The paint has wear and dings as can be seen in the pictures but still displays very well for an original car. The car was in a fender bender in 1973 and the drivers side quarter panel was repaired by the dealer. No other previous damage I am aware of.

Vehicle Details

Original Matching #'s everything.

Still retains all of the rare and hard to find parts like; 171 master cylinder, large mouth calipers, 2 piece hubs and rotors, power steering cooler, radiator, idle solenoid, carburetors, cylinder heads and valve train, drivers side exhaust manifold heat shield, distributor, space saver spare tire, air can, bumper jack, sway bars, window washer hood squirters, etc.

Engine was fully rebuilt. Bored .030. TRW forged pistons, reconditioned rods, crank is std/std, old school Racer Brown 6 pack cam, roller timing chain, oil pump, new valves, hardened seats, balanced, etc.

727 trans and converter were also rebuilt.

3.55 sure grip rear end.

All brakes and front suspension completely rebuilt and aligned. The original steering gear was rebuilt by Firm Feel. Heater box was rebuilt (new core and seals).

FY1 Top Banana yellow with black buckets and console, Power Steering, Power Disc brakes, complete and original exhaust system, original Rim Blow Steering wheel that works, Rally Dash (tack and speedo were mechanically rebuilt), pedal dress up package, light package, door edge guards, 3 speed wipers, AM/FM 3 speaker dash, rear speakers with fader (radio works intermittently), Rally wheels(all original with matching dates), etc.

Ton’s of documentation organized in a 3 ring binder: 3 Broadcast sheets(2 for this car and 1 for T/A 1 vin number off of this one), sales contract, warranty paperwork, cold starting instructions, old registrations from when the car was new, copies of previous titles, all kinds of other old mics paperwork as well. Reproduction window sticker.

Excellent original car with all of the hard to find parts still on it. Tons of factory paint marks from assembly all over this car. Runs and drives perfect. The radio is the only thing that doesn’t work like it should. The car sat from 1983 until I pulled it out of a long term storage in 2017 and got the car back on the road. Car has won awards at Mopar shows all over. It’s been to numerous Spring and Fall Flings, Mopars at the Strip, Carlisle, etc. People love this car and how original it is.
