1970 DODGE 1-TON PICKUP TRUCK

Very clean old dodge sweptline. I am the second owner. The previous owner didn't drive it much. The mileage of 58,520 is original. This pickup is in very clean shape for a 54 year old classic unrestored pickup. The paint is all original. All the details on the pickup are below. I have extensive undercarriage and floor pics I can send. Feel free to ask questions. Thank you.

I prefer wire transfer. It's easy, and your bank can help you with it if needed. I will also accept cash app, venmo, and zelle depending on circumstances. I can help arrange U.S. and international shipping if needed.

MECHANICAL

This dodge has the original 318 V8 and 4-speed manual transmission. It starts up and runs very nice. It does not smoke or have blowby. It has no ticks, knocks or other abnormal noises. The transmission and clutch work perfectly. This has the dana-70 posi track rearend. No abnormalities. The engine runs cool. The oil has no water in it, and ther is no oil in the water either. This has power brakes and standard steering. It is surprisingly easy to steer though. The brakes work good. The tires are all in nice shape. They are new old-stock. They have no cracking or anything, and it drives down the road straight and true. No vibrations or anything abnormal. All lights work except the cab lights. I may get time to fix those. The flashers work too. The heater fan and selector work. The wiper motor is weak, but I have another I can include. The parking brake works.

Overall, the truck is very sound mechanically. It is usable now, but I would recommend a couple things to do: I would change all the fluids. I would also change the spark plugs, wires, and belts. Just the usual stuff since the truck has not been used regularly for awhile. I would put new shocks on it too, but that's your call. I can potentially do some of the work on it for you if you'd like.

BODY

The body is in very nice shape. NO rust-through. I have more pics I can send. Original paint is not perfect, but in nice shape. Hood and doors operate as they should. This has an 8x10 flatbed. It has no rust either. New 2x6 wood deck. Thw front signal lenses are cracked, but I ordered new ones for it. This is the nicest original body I've seen on a truck of this vintage.

INTERIOR

The seat back had the upholstery coming apart, so I put a new seat cover on it. The floormat and everything is in good shape. There is not much upholstery in these. All gauges work. The speedometer us a little jumpy, so it probably needs a new speedometer cable

OVERALL: This is one of the cleanest un-restored classic sweptlines you'll find.

This old classic is sold as-is. Thanks for looking.
