1993 Dodge Stealth Additional Info:

Up for sale is my 1993 Dodge Stealth R/T. I bought this from the Mecum auction in Kissimmee in January. I was looking for a 3000 GT VR-4 but ended up with this car to satisfy me for a bit. I trailered it to my home in Naples, FL and proceeded to change oil & filter, brake fluid flush, transmission fluid flush, coolant drain and replace, as well as changing a few bulbs, headlights, etc. I had to trailer it home because the tires are from 2014 and have evidence of cracks so I did not want to drive it long distance. I was looking for a OEM set of 17 inch R/T Turbo wheels to put new tires on but never found a proper set. To make a long story short I went to the Barrett Jackson auction in Palm Beach and bought a 1993 3000 GT VR4 Turbo with manual trans! Now I have to sell the Stealth to make room for the 3000 GT.

This Stealth is 1 of 186 made in 1993 in the Silver Pearl color. It is a very nice car that was obviously well cared for. The only area of repaint that I could find was the black top and rear bumper. The paint shines well and would look even better with a clay bar, polish, and wax. All I did was wash it. There are a few scratches and chips on the front bumper but nothing major. All glass is in good shape.Moldings and rubber look good without rot. All this tells me it was garage kept.

The interior is in great shape as well.Front seats show minimal wear and rear seats are near perfect. Headliner is in great shape. Door panels show no cracks or tears but the vinyl is losing some of its adhesive so it is not flush on the door panels. This can be an easy fix but is not bothersome to me at all. Dash is free of cracks and steering wheel and shifter are in good shape. Has the original floor mats which are in good shape as well as the hatch mat which is also in good shape.

The drivers seat electronic lumbar works!Power seats work, power windows and mirrors work, and interior lights work. The HVAC display works when the headlights are not on and then dims too low when lights are on. You can get the HVAC LEDs rebuilt on ebay for$99. The A/C is ice cold and heat works well. The pop up headlights work excellent and I just put new LED headlights in them and they do not create any fault codes.

Mechanically it runs great. Very smooth ride without suspension noise or much travel. Engine sounds great with plenty of power.Transmission shifts hard in 3rd and 4th gear when it is cold but this goes away when it is warmed up.I took it to a local transmission shop and was told the input/output magnetic servos are bad (low voltage) and need to be replaced. We could not source the parts locally and I did not have the time to find them online.I was told the parts are about $110 each and labor is under $500 to install. The transmission fluid flush I performed did not change the hard shifting.

No fluid leaks that I have noticed. Garage floor is dry. Has a muffler delete which really lets the 3.0 liter 24 valve V6 sing. Not annoying sound but loud enough. It has period specific 17 inch Enkei wheels which are not bent. The tires are old and need to be replaced.I would not recommend driving a long distance or at high speed with these tires. Date code is 2014 and they have cracks from age but do hold air and have held up with around town driving.

Overall it is a nice Stealth that can easily be driven as-is if you change tires. I have driven it in town 400 miles since January and it has been a joy. Get lots of compliments and 'what kind of car is that' questions. No warning lights on the dash. All gauges work. If you want to make it a show car it would take a little time and money but nothing crazy. It even comes with a car show poster!I have one key, window sticker, and the 1993 Sales Brochure.

This is a No Reserve auction. The highest bigger will win! I have about $7k invested in it. It will sell to the highest bidder as I do not have the room for it and want it to go to a good home to stay preserved.

Please let me know if you have any questions before the last day of the auction.I am happy to take additional pictures or video for you.I can even facetime with you around the car.Pickup will be at my home in sunny Naples, FL.Buyer will pay all associated shipping costs and respective taxes/titling fees in their state.Vehicle is sold as-is with no warranty expressed or implied.Remember that bidding is a legally binding contract. Vehicle will need to be paid within 7 days of the auctions end.The vehicle must be picked up within 14days of the auctions end.
