1970 Dodge Super Bee Additional Info:

Iconic Mopar Muscle at the Height of the Golden Age of American Muscle Cars, this ’70 Dodge Super Bee is a beautifully done frame-off restoration with a V-Code 440 Six Pack. An investment grade stunner in a striking color combination set off by classic Magnum 500 wheels and raised white letter BFG Radial T/A’s. This was a one-year-only body style making them quite rare and very desirable collectibles. Call Jordan 866-733-4451 with any questions you may have. See the video watch?v=S-4gAhteAz4. INTRO/HISTORY: The Super Bee, based on the Dodge Coronet was produced from ’68-’71. The mid-size “B” body platform shared by the Dodge Charger and Plymouth Roadrunner is where the name Super Bee comes from. The radical design of the two-section grill on the 1970 model was intended to create the effect of Bumble Bee wings in motion. This unique one-year-only model is rapidly growing in popularity among collectors in the muscle car community. Comes with the original broadcast/ build sheet and a clean and clear title. EXT: - Dark Blue contrasts beautifully w/ White vinyl top - White “C-stripe” with Super Bee graphic - One year only design - Polished Magnum 500 wheels - Raised white letter BFG Radial T/A’s - Power bulge hood - Die-cast chrome-plated Bee medallions on front and back INT: - Black vinyl high-back bucket seats - Center console w/ floor mounted shifter - Woodgrain trim on dash and console - Tri-spoke wood rimmed steering wheel - Full set of factory gauges - Power steering & power brakes - Original AM radio ENGINE: - V-Code 440 Six Pack - Six 2-barrel carburetors - 3-speed automatic transmission - Factory rated at 390 hp/ 490 lb-ft of torque - Heavy duty suspension - DieHard battery - Chrome tipped dual exhaust CONDITION: - Frame-off restoration - Paint is in excellent condition - All original sheet metal - Very straight down the sides - All systems in proper working order - Runs strong and shifts smoothly - Safety checked and turn-key ready CLOSING: As everyone knows, blue-chip Mopars continue to head toward the stratosphere on the auction block. This Super Bee is just one step below the 426 Hemi in value and performance with the more streetable V-code 440 Six Pack. This beautiful beast of a Mopar is a great investment and one that you can drive. Its one-yearonly body style makes them a rarity and the somewhat controversial for the day front end treatment is aging nicely. It’s a time machine to the height of the Muscle Car Wars and a valuable piece of Mopar history.
