"Today, the car might be the most well detailed, fully functional Coronet R/T 440 Six Pack convertible on the planet"-Mike McNessor Hemmings Muscle Machines #119 July 2013
Up for sale here is a beautifully restored 1970 Dodge Coronet R/T 440 6 Pack convertible. 1 of 16 made in the R/T 440 6 Pack Convertible configuration. 9 of those 16 came with the heavy duty TorqueFlite transmission. Rotisserie restoration to showroom delivery condition. 390HP 440 Six Pack, TorqueFlite automatic transmission, bucket seats, HD drum brakes, HD suspension, .92" torsion bars, staggered leaf springs, every thing has been gone through on this very special, very rare Coronet. Body was done by restoration expert Rich Spasojevich in Illinois. Extensive paint work was done by Boone Auto body to bring the paint as close to factory correct appearance as possible. The car was then sent to Santa Clara California to be assembled and finished by Mopar expert Mark Characky and restoration expert Marc Irvin. Featured in July 2013 Hemmings Muscle Machines magazine.
