1970 Dodge Hemi Challenger R/T 4 sd 41,000 original mile survivor. Both the original engine and transmission have the VIN stampings on their ID pads and verified as authentic by supporting reports. All numbers matchingpowertrain from carbs to rear end. Repainted once in its original Hi-Impact Plum Craz, with V68 Sports Strip and vinyl top delete. The undercarriage still retains its factory rust proofing with some minor touchups. Every body panel is original to the car being accident and rust free. The interior is pretty much all original showing minimal ware and still looking awesome.
The 4:10 gears were swapped out for street friendly 3:54 and power steering added. Both the original 4:10 gears and manual steering unit are boxed. This car fires up and drives as it should in any traffic conditions.
The car previously sold in 2020 Kissimmee Mecum Lot F185 for $259k + auction fees. For further pictures and disclosure look up the VIN number or Mecum Lot Number.
The Challenger’s original tags and body stampings are present, as well as its original broadcast sheet, all of which have been verified by a personal inspection from Mopar expert Dave Wise and detailed in his multipage Elite Validation Report. Also included is a Chrysler Registry decoding of this car dated May 19, 1990.
