Main Street Motors - Denison is proud to offer this 1968 Dodge D100 pickup. This is an old Parts Dept truck of J. Swanton Ivy Chrysler Dodge in Athens, Georgia. This truck has a lot of character and cool patina. Equipped with a newly remanufactured 318 V8 engine. The engine was remanufactured by City Motors in Dallas, Texas. We have a long list of new parts. Just the under hood parts are: New carburetor, new starter, new alternator, new water pump, new fuel pump, new HEI distributor, new spark plug wires, new belts, new radiator hoses, new Direct-Connection valvecovers, new chrome air cleaner, new aluminum radiator, new electric cooling fan and a new battery. The 904 Torqufliteautomatic transmission has all new seals and new pan gasket and filter kit. New TCI automatic transmission floor shifter. The driveshaft was custom made for this truck and has new u-joints and has been fully balanced. New dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. Engine runs great and only has a handful of miles on it so far. The brake system has a new master cylinder, new wheel cylinders and new brake hoses. The trucks drives good and stops just fine. The body does have some bumps and bruises and some rust here and there, but nothing too serious. It is still wearing it's original red paint with the dealership logos. Has new radial tires mounted on the original steel wheels. This definitely has that cool, vintage look and runs and drives good.
