Hello all, here we have a 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger that is still in nice shape. Almost everything works except for the gas gauge and temp gauge. The speedometer cable has popped off and I no longer have the dexterity to crawl under the dash to re-attach it. I am the 2nd owner; it has 72,000 original miles. I have owned it for 12 years and it has been garaged the entire time. It has the venerable slant-6, automatic, power steering and AM radio. The quarters and front wheel wells are solid. There is some rust in the trunk and along the fender lips. When cold, the car starts on the first turn of the key, but it is running rough. I think it has some bad gas in it (I poured gas from a gas can into it, and that gas had been sitting around a while). Or the carb may need cleaning or adjustment. The automatic shifts smoothly. It has 4 new tires, a new battery, a new carb, new points, new spark plugs, a new water pump, and a recently re-cored radiator. The vinyl top is in nice shape. There is a little bubbling in the paint here & there but overall this car is in nice shape for its age. I have tried to be as up-front as possible about the condition of this Dart. This car isn't perfect but, with a little TLC, would be a great restoration project--either keep it all original or drop a V8 into it. The car is located in Circleville, Ohio.
