1992 Dodge W150 Additional Info:
I got this very hard-to-find, box-stock, W150 Standard Cab Dodge 4-wheel-drive pickup from the original owner, a government utility company located in the suburbs of Birmingham, Alabama. They always kept it undercover in a shop carport, and I have always kept it garaged. The utility company in Birmingham performed all required maintenance on it whenever it was due, so it has always been dutifully maintained. The automatic transmission was rebuilt at around 110,000 miles. It has the original Magnum 5.9 Litre (318 H.P.) V-8 engine, automatic transmission with overdrive, factory air conditioning, dual-range transfer case, power steering, power brakes, and a.m.-f.m. radio with clock. The four wheel drive works perfectly, and the truck runs and drives flawlessly. It starts right up every time. The air conditioning was not working when I got it, but since I had it repaired it works fine and consistently blows cold. All the dash gauges work. The dash is in unusually good condition for these trucks, with no cracking, splitting, etc. I currently have a custom-made dash mat on to make sure it stays that way. It's got a custom-fitted rubber bed mat in the truck bed. It's also got a new engine computer, new tires and front-end alignment, new gas lines, new wiper blades, and new fuel pump and fuel pump sending unit, as the gas gauge was not working when I got the truck. All door locks work fine, windows crank up and down. There are expected dents and dings from normal use, as depicted in photos, but nothing major. The Carfax I received when it came to me indicated no accidents. Title is clean and clear. I could find no body rot, just minor surface rust as seen in the photos.
In the interest of full and honest disclosure, here is what the truck needs:Ashtray that goes in the dashWindow latch for the passenger-side vent window. Both vent windows operate fine, thoughThere is a minor transmission seal leak, but not major. The vinyl floor in the area of where the driver's heel would rest is worn.
It's very hard to find an original truck in this desired 4x4 shortbed configuration that hasn't been lifted, lowered, chopped, etc., etc. This is a very reliable and great-running truck.
Prospective buyers are welcome to come and see it in person. I am located just 2 hours from both Atlanta, Georgia and Birmingham, Alabama. And I'm just 45 minutes from Chattanooga, Tennessee.
