1970 Dodge Challenger Additional Info:
This 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A 2 Door Hardtop (Stock # B11577) is available in our Benicia, CA showroom and any inquiries may be directed to us at 707-706-2162 or via email at [](mailto:).Simply Incredible 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A HardtopNew to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A 2 Door Hardtop with factory original Bright Red exterior paint and a Saddle Tan vinyl interior. You’ll find a 340 cid V-8 engine under the hood with six-pack induction and a 4-speed manual transmission, along with power front disc brakes, dealer aftermarket stereo/antennae and so much more. This incredibly rare muscle car shows a mere 78,773 original miles on the odometer as well and it is one of the most impressive survivors we’ve ever had the pleasure of test driving!A True 1 of 1- 340 Six Pack, 4-Speed, Bright Red & Tan VinylThis 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A Hardtop was enjoyed by the original owner all the way up to last year and they informed us that it’s always been stored indoors and maintained at the highest possible levels. In fact, the only thing we could find that wasn’t original was the Mickey Thompson valve covers and the dealership-added antennae, which was mounted to the original front fender. This example was not ordered with a factory radio and there’s no evidence of an old antennae hole in the rear quarter, which makes this muscle car even more unique. There were only around 900 total 340 T/A Six Pack manual examples and this is the only one produced in Bright Red with a Saddle Tan interior and a hardtop roof.Additionally, this 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A 2 Door Hardtop shows beautifully with outstanding body lines, factory-original paint and the complete factory interior. There is a small ding on the right rear fender and you’ll find some slight patina to the interior and factory paint, but this true survivor could be shown locally today or enjoyed on the open road. The 1st owner has stated that neither the drivetrain nor any aspect of this MOPAR classic has been restored beyond general maintenance, and we have a true lifetime of documentation on file to support the current owner’s claims (including the factory broadcast sheet, warranty card, etc.).In terms of performance, this 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A Hardtop starts smoothly and offers excellent all-around performance from acceleration to cornering to stopping power. It does have a new battery in place as well as brand new tires so this legendary survivor can be driven and enjoyed immediately. Given that this classic only has 79k lifetime miles on the odometer and delivers admirable performance, the next collector will have a tough decision whether to leave it 100% unblemished or fully restore it.Virtually 100% Original Survivor in Unrestored ConditionOverall, this 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A Hardtop is an absolutely incredible survivor that’s ready to drive and enjoy right away. Given the extreme rarity of this example and the truly unmolested condition, this muscle car will be the pinnacle of one lucky MOPAR collector’s collection. Come see it for yourself today since it will definitely find a new home quickly at the current asking price.
