I never checked to make sure numbers match to the motor. I would not even know how to check, the previous owner said they did and I believe he definitely believed what he was saying. I think it's a big block 400, has four barrel. The frame, inner front fender wells, trunk are all super solid like new and were never patched or anything like that as far as I can tell. I had the car wrapped and put the wheels and tires on. If you don't like the wheels/tires you can take a thousand dollars OFF of your winning bid and I'll keep them. The interior looks to be in great shape and all there except for the strap you use to pull drivers door shut and the top of the gear shifter is missing. It shifts fine with out it and I have a new one for it, I just have to put it on, should take like 2 minutes. The seats, carpet, head liner, dash, gauges, all seem to be in extremely nice shape, especially for a "74, though we always recomend you come look for yourself or eBay offers an independent to come in and inspect vehicle for you. The motor is all stock as far as I can tell, I did have the valve covers, and air filter recently installed and they do say 383 and I now believe it to be a 400. I do have the ones that came off that look to be factory originals as well too. The detailer gave me two boxes about the size of muffler boxes and one very big box almost as big as me and I'm 6 foot that comes with it. There was a bunch of stuff in the trunk and on the floor that he put in the boxes. Other then the factory looking valve covers and air cleaner I haven't a clue whats in the boxes, everything else looks to be factory and there as well, cruise control unit, air conditioning etc. Detailed pics are provided, its up to you to check it out and make sure your happy with it, like I say, I would not even know where to check to make sure numbers match. Motor seems to run good and trans. Seems to shift good, it does have manual choke and needs warmed up a little if it's really cold out. Of course we put new fluid and filters in both. I only drove it around Kmart parking lot, it's where my shop is and to the gas station but motor ran good and sounded good, it does have new dualls from motor back as well, trans. shifted through all the gears.As far as exterior goes there are little running lights, or turn signal covers that are flat and like maybe 2 inches by 6 inches that go in the front fenders that aren't there.I would bet there in one of the three boxes that come with it but can't promise. Even if you had to buy them I can't see them even being close to twenty bucks for new ones and I would imagine are easily available and easy to install as well, they look to be a very common size, I have NOT looked though, as with everything else we recomend you check for yourself.
