1979 Dodge Lil Red Express One of 5,118 produced in 1979. Two year only production 1978 and 1979.
SUPER RARE 440BB with6 pack carbs and 4 speed manual transmission conversion.

This is obviously a true 1979 Lil Red Express modified with the 440 BB and 4 Speed manual transmission.
Let's face it the 360 SB's are absolute turds to drive and a Hybrid Toyota Prius will blow your doors off!So here we have a manly man's Little Red Express so you cry baby's that believe these should remain small block automatic transmission turd sleds run for the hills this is what I think Dodge should have done in the first place but due to GOVERNMENT restrictions could not!
This has been a NM truck its entire life and has had ZERO rust issues in its life.The truck went thru a partial restoration in 2000 including paint, interior, motor and transmission.The paint is the first respray but obviously shows extremely well.The seat was recovered and carpet was replaced.
The 440 and 6 pack carbs were rebuilt this year 2019 and has just over 500 miles on them.The 440 is now .30 over with Speed Pro Forged flat top pistons and a mild Competition Cam that has a very slight loop to it. The rest of the inner workings are factory stock.
I have many more pictures if needed Ebay only allows 24 so I can email to serious buyer. I also took a cold start video, 70mph video, and a video walk around and can send the YouTube links. The truck will also come with all the documentation I receivedfrom the original owners widow that has the BB conversion kit info and receiptsthat came from Direct Connection AKA Dodge dealer in CA.
