You instantly know this is like no other custom pickup you've seen before. In fact, we bet you're taking one look at this custom-built 1946 Dodge pickup and dreaming about all the awards and attention it will bring. And because this is a supercharged V8 street machine, it has the power to back up all its aggressive looks. The matte gray color feels like a tribute to the earthy rat rod culture that inspired this design, but... the high-end professional application of this modern Ford color reveals the true nature of this truck. It's a custom build that was completed less than 850 miles ago. It's a fresh look where no expense was spared and no compromises were taken to create the coolest street rod pickup around. The '32 Ford grille has bolder industrial lights and a great waterfall look. The cab has been chopped and streamlined so it looks like it could cheat the wind. Getting this truck impossibly low to the ground means channeling the cab over the frame and running the rear suspension through the real wood bed so all the world can see it. This is a highly detailed build, and one of our favorite pieces are the color-matched smooth steelies with spiked lug extensions. It embodies both the style and intimidation that this custom is all about. The interior has been just as carefully crafted to be comfortable without betraying the minimalist attitude. For example, items like the carpeting and bucket seats are finished in a crisp black so it looks good while coordinating with the exterior gray on the dash and door tops. You can clearly see a powerful motor through the windshield, and the interior components are ready to handle this performance. That's why you have a sports steering wheel, column-mounted SunPro tach, and TCI outlaw shifter. And the crisp Dolphin backlit gauges are nicely integrated into the classic dash housing. We know you've been staring at that motor, and so will everyone else. It's a 350 cubic-inch Chevy V8 with a four-bolt main. You want a strong motor because there's a 471 blower on top of it! Plus, the double set of Rochester 500 CFM dual-barrel carbs look terrific on top while letting this mighty motor inhale deeply. It's an attractive setup that also has the right supporting components, like an electric fuel pump and a four-core aluminum radiator w/large electric fan. And the header package allows this to exhale with power and thunder from those side pipes. Getting all this power to the ground is a TCI TH350 with manual valve body and 2300 stall. It feeds a limited-slip Ford rear end with 31-spline axle and 4.10 gears for confident and powerful takeoffs. There's a Speedway Motors front end featuring hairpins, and in the rear, strong ladder bars with adjustable coilovers. Finishing off this performance package is a four-wheel disc brakes upgrade and modern Yokohama tires. Skip the time and effort it would take to build your dream truck, and just go right to the front of the car show with this custom Dodge. But remember this is one-of-a-kind, so when it's gone, there will never be another. Call today!!!
