1968 Dodge Charger Hemi Restomod Additional Info:
Inspired by the Nascar drivers of the period. This original body was purchased in California. Like those racers, it packs the punch of a Hemi engine, in this case a Ray Barton 472 CI stroker unit complete with an original factory magnesium race intake manifold backed by a Tremec 5-speed and 8 ¾ rear end. Interior fittings are suitably Spartan: a padded steering wheel, bucket seats, shifter, aluminum dash panel, roll cage and Zolotone trunk spray. Budnik Wheels supplied the huge Muroc II wheels mounting wide Michelin Pilots, behind which are Wilwood disc brakes all around. Finished in simple White with Red accents throughout, this eye-popping NASCAR-themed Charger takes the Resto-Mod recipe to its Pure Vision best.
