1968 Dodge Charger 383 HP Mopar Additional Info:

225- two 685382 for start up and walk around videoUp for auction at NO RESERVE is the hottest car on the planet. My body and paint guy is tied up for a while, and while waiting I figured id see if someone wants the car more than me. It is a 2 owner 1968 Dodge Charger 383 4 bbl HP car. 2nd owner purchased the car for $800 in 1979 with 101k miles on it. It was used sparingly through the 80's and now has 147k miles. The numbers matching 383 still fires up and runs good, definitely could use a tune up and though i put 10 gallons of fresh premium in it, you can still smell 10 year old gas with stabil from days gone by. I personally love the old car smell. It has been painted twice over the years, center trunk was patched, but car has perfect frame rails front to back. Body is straight but is ready for another round of body work/paint- car was last done 25 years ago. The interior is amazing. Seats have never been recovered, and have no tears. Gauges work except fuel(even the tach works). Headliner and carpet were replaced last month just due to age and fading out. Body has some bubbling but nothing horrible. Non vinyl top car so that helps. Fender tag is on car, and id bet money the build sheet is under a back seat, i havent looked. This is the charger everybody wants but you hardly see for sale. It is not a $80k dealer inventory find a sucker to buy car. It is not a $15k complete non running basketcase either. Its the middle of the road pretty original not cut up car that can have $7-8k thrown at it to be super nice, or a perfect platform for a resto mod.You will be hard pressed to find a charger like this these days at a true no reserve auction. Dont miss out. That being said I reserve the right to end this auction early at any time for any reason, as the car is for sale locally. Feel free to ask with any questions. No i would not drive this car home, it has been sitting better part of 10-15 years. Overseas bidders welcome I have shipped many mopars overseas over the years. Clean title for the car. It will run fine to go on a trailer for transport. All lights gauges etc work, windows go up and down as expected. Again NO RESERVE so bid to win. Please have financing and wife approval taken care or BEFORE bidding. Thanks for looking and good luck!
