1970 Dodge Challenger R/T Additional Info:

1970 Dodge Challenger RT Convertible...Yes, a Big Block E-Body Convertible!

What better way to use a tax refund or Year-end Bonus!

The Challenger R/T became one of the most storied muscle cars in automotive history, with meticulously restored and rare examples today selling for six, or even 7 figure prices.

With original Hemi Challenger R/T Convertibles at 7 figures and 440-SixPack Convertibles at $500k, the next most rare and desirable are the 440-equipped cars.

For the 1970 model year, just over 83,000 Dodge Challengers were sold.

Of those, few were R/T’s and only 129 were convertibles equipped with a 440 and a Torqueflight transmission as this one is.

Unfortunately, few survived and even fewer survived with their original drivetrain.

Why even consider a ‘tribute’ or ‘clone’, when an original, investment quality car is available?

This Super Rare 440 (U-code) Challenger R/T Convertible is dressed in stunning B5 Blue paint with a matching blue interior, just as it left the factory!

Professionally restored to the highest level using numerous NOS components.

Numbers matching engine and transmission.

Correct numbers matching components, as well, all professionally restored and detailed,

I’ve owned this car since 2001.

7,000 miles on it since restoration completion 7 years ago. (Yes, I do drive it)
Featured in T-Bldg at Carlisle in 2010.

Featured as February Calendar Car for Cuda-Challenger.com calendar in 2015.

Original Fender Tag, Dash tag and all body numbers. No Build sheet.
