1969 Dodge Charger Daytona Additional Info:
When I first saw this hemi Daytona I had only seen one or two other hemi Daytona’s . I had looked at multiple other hemi cars from chargers to cudas to challengers and roadrunners . A few hemi convertibles as well but when I looked at this car after hearing about it over the years I was blown away by how original the cars was . Even though it had been painted Petty blue it was one of the best original Mopars I had ever seen. Underneath was factory original wheel openings drivetrain and soon to be realize, engine compartment underneath a coat of cheap paint was factory original color and in perfect condition. Amazing for any car let alone a hemi Daytona showing just over 20000 miles . No rust matching numbers perfect build shee, it started right up and drove great. When I was informed I was getting Dutch doored out of the 1971 hemi cuda I was expecting to buy it was all of two seconds to say fine have at it. The other car didn’t hold a candle to this Daytona and I hadn’t even seen the spring green color on her and I usually don’t like green Even sassy grass green the holy grail of cuda colors. Call me crazy I think this green tops it. This is one of the best mopars and hemi cars on planet. Bobby Allison drove his hemi Daytona 200 mph at track A 440 car is great but the ultimate show stopper is that 426 hemi under the hood. As Ron Burgundy said it don’t get much better than this ! All questions answered that’s Dave Wise in the trunk completing his full report attesting to the originality of vehicle. Call Tom 773 263 4660.
