Up for auction isa 1987 Dodge Ramcharger 4 x 4. I have owned it since Oct 2010. Previously owned by the local city and the IL state police before that. Very dependable and very well maintained. Starts easily and runs and drives great. Runs down the highway smooth with the cruise on. It has always been stored indoors since 1992 when the city purchased it from the state. I believe all the paint is original and it does not appear to have ever been in the mud. It was a winter vehicle for the police and has some rust as shown. 318 V8, automatic, ac, cruise control, newer factory AM/FM/Casette, GM auto dimming rear view mirror with compass, fog lamps, rubber mat floor.Napa gold battery. I have put on a new custom exhaust, new headliner, tinted the rear side windows and hatch glass, different driver seat (grey instead of tan out of a newer Dodge van) nice used chrome wheels with metal valve stems, new 31 x 10.5 x 15 tires, fuel pump, voltage regulator, thermostat, Napa gas magnum yellow heavy duty shocks, and installed a new linkage in the steering column. Original H speed rated spare tire. It had street tires with white painted steel wheels with the dog dish hubcaps when I bought it and they go with it if the new owner wants them. I also have the original driver seat but the metal mount for the back is broken on one side. The rear quarters are rusted around the wheel wells and on the inside hatch corners. The AC will need a can of R12 freon to blow cold, but it does work. I have new brake pads for the front but are not put on. 10% deposit in the form of a money order or cashier’s check or paypal is due 3 days following the end of the auction.
