1966 Dodge Coronet Additional Info:
This 66 Coronet already had the 440 in it when I purchased it 8 years ago and as beat up as it was the car seemed to be fairly original with most parts all there. The VIN designates it originally came with a 273. Its just been sitting the past couple of years and I no longer have the interest in finishing it. I don't expect to get anywhere near whats into it but I have set a small reserve to protect myself from giving it away. The 440 has been completely rebuilt along with the 727 trans to a high performance level. Front and rear suspension along with the brakes have been replaced. The rear end is an 8-3/4 3:23 shortened laser cut housing with Moser axles to accommodate the rear wheels (275/50r15 on 7" rims). Engine compartment and most of the dash has been rewired to the factory diagram so no guess work if you need to get into it. Custom dash with all Auto Meter gauges. Custom console with B&M Quick Silver shifter. This is still a project in the works but is about 80% complete. Everything mechanical is done leaving basically the remaining body work and paint. Many extra parts including distributor, module, timing set, trim, mounts, brackets etc.
BODY - The body is pretty straight. Needs some finishing on the patch panels welded into the rear fender wheel wells along with some door corners and the roof. The front seats have covers on them but they are not ripped and the rear seat is newly reupholstered. New dash pad and carpet. New headliner and the door panels in good shape. Windshield and rear window are new. Seals replaced on both front and rear windows when installed. Tires are still in new condition but there are a couple of pitted spots on 2 of the Keystone rims from sitting and collecting moisture over the years.Bumpers are in good shape but need to be re-chromed. I have all the side trim still that came with the car.

TRANSMISSION - 727 trans completely rebuild with a Transco shift kit. Valve body has been modified to semi-auto so you can just leave it in drive or shift it manually. This trans will shift into any gear you want at anytime you want it to and has a B&M 2800 stall converter.
