1971 Dodge Other Pickups Additional Info:
Up for sale is a hard to find Dodge truck, a 1971 D200 'Sweptline'. Truck has original factory Bright White paint with original Blue interior. It came installed with factory options such as Power Brakes, Heater, and Stereo. The motor and trans are not original. Installed in the truck is a heavy duty 318ci motor home motor called the 318-3. This motor was built with forged and hardened internals to handle any heavy applications in the early days. The engine runs good and sounds like old school American Muscle with its Hooker Headers. It has brand new fuel pump, new Edelbrock 1406 electric choke carburetor with chrome air cleaner, and new Edelbrock intake manifold. The transmission is a Torqueflite 727 3-speed. Trans was just serviced, the cooler lines were fixed the the valve body was rebuilt. It was to be manually shifted with the floor lever because the kickdown linkage has not been hooked up to the new carburetor. Brand new wheels and tires were installed 4/29/16. The tires are Cooper Discovery LT295/70R17. The wheels are Method 'The Standard' 17x9 polished aluminium finish. Front brakes have been rebuilt along with new wheel cylinders. Truck is mostly complete but with some quirks to it. The steering gearbox with need to be adjusted or rebuilt. It does have a new steering coupler and lower steering column bearing. The gauges on the dash dont work besides the speedo and alt gauge. Blower motor works but heater core has small leak. The brake booster and master cylinder will need replacing soon. This truck turned heads everywhere I took it and makes a bold statement when you see it. I would love to finish the truck myself, but im looking to buy my first house and need all the money I can get.-Clean Title In Hand-Bill Of Sale In Hand- $4600obo-Contact Clayton, (760) 269-9161....Text or Calls welcome
