1948 Dodge B-1 2 Ton Cabover Flatbed truck for sale. This is a completely original 1948 Running & Driving truck with a clean title in my name. The engine has been re-sealed, the truck has been completely re-wired, and the brakes have been completely replaced both front & rear. With new tires this truck could be driven daily. It’s the deluxe 5 window cab with optional grab handles, original radio & antenna and heater. All of the glass is good, no cracks at all. There’s minor rust below the door jam on both sides, passenger side floorboard, and a small spot on the front of the hood. All of the chrome is still on the truck & still nice & shiny. The cab apron has been acetylene welded to the cab, this could be removed but it works just fine as it is. There is a crack in the drivers side fender as visible in the picture. It’s got a 15’ 6” flatbed with the original stake sides. The truck is nearly complete, missing only the choke/throttle cables, panel light switch and finish hooking up the outside lights. This has the original 251 flathead 6 cylinder engine with a rebuilt Carter 1bbl updraft carburetor, 5 speed manual transmission and vacuum 2 speed rear axle(works). The starter runs on 12 volt, and the ignition runs on 6 volt with a voltage drop block. Comes with a brand new 12 volt battery.
